Precies toch een ferme bug hier: ik kan gewoon die award binnenhalen door torpedo's af te schieten terwijl die bal nog gelockt zit achter die target. Gewoon 5 x beide flippers tegelijk indrukken en done :?
Pascal, ik kon dit niet op de mijne..(pro) wel op Lieven's ook gezien via double flip. Torpedo's is toch enkel via de punch it? Misschien ben je hier iets mee?

took mine apart last weekend to finally fix the ball sticking on the magnet and also the double flipping triggering in vengance 2. here's my observations as i can't find the other thread.
Tried all the usual twisting wires & swapping boards. here's what i did
Removed the guides with the opto's attached, reflowed the solder but noticed that one of the mountings was not at 90 degrees and therefore not correctly aiming the opto. this pretty much fixed the sticking ball issue but i found improvement by going into game settings #2 and setting disable magnet to yes. Bizarrely it doesn't disable it but appears to let go properly in vengance.
Went into switch test and mashed the flippers, you could see the bottom opto sometimes briefly triggering. It looks like it's the connector end as the don't securely fit. Took the board off and mounted it on rubbers which has fixed it. Seems a vibration issue.

New code is ready to be beta tested! Ritchie asked Keith Elwin to beta test it right on Facebook. Elwin replied yes and that he could get started on it right after PAPA. Ritchie said he wants ST to be a tournament pin

Betere lichtshows, betere uitwerking van de missions, betere kobayashi Maru, Vengeance is mooier uitgewerkt, Away Team is opgepoetst,...

Ook een score van 194 en 174 mlj neergezet, hoe beter je het spel speelt, hoe hoger de bonussen wat een groot verschil maakt met vroeger! :)
Zeker de moeite om eens uit te proberen ;)

No prob, hoe bedoel je dan missies beter uitgewerkt? En vengeance beter? Telt er meer mee in de bonus dan enkel switch hits (vb ramps, modes played, etc..?) Worden de asteroid flashers nu gebruikt?

Nog iets die tproberen waard is:

I also had this problem, as well as the ''stick to the other ball on the magnet'' thing, EVERYTIME!! The only way the two balls dropped was a ball search, it drove me nuts.
I had looked over everything, tried different boards, twisiting wires nonsense, etc, no luck. I then thought, ''well, why does the twisting of the wires work for some?'' Probably because it is tweaking it back into a correct/better position for the beam.
I then looked at the opto set at the front of that magnet entrance/shot, tweaked them so a better beam was present and I haven't had a single issue in months, hundreds of games, no more flipper scoring during vengeance, in fact, no more sticking balls either!
I believe it is because the holes in the metal the beam passes through can slightly block its path if it's not sitting just right. I think the true fix for this is to drill the holes slightly larger.

Tijdens het spelen van missies kan je medailles verdienen, hoe beter je die missie speelt hoe meer medailles je verzamelt gaande van brons-zilver-goud(als ik me niet vergis).
Het is dus mogelijk om alle drie de medailles per mode te verzamelen.
Medailles tellen mee in de End of ball bonus maar ook(en hier wordt het interessant) bij de start van Kobayashi Maru.
Zo levert het verzamelen van bvb alle bronzen medailles 15 miljoen op bij de start van Kobayashi Maru multiball.

Punten die te verdienen vallen zijn ook hoger tijdens Kobayashi.

De Vengeance heeft meer diepgang, zo is vengeance III geen hurry up meer maar wel een mode waar je 10% van je score kan verdienen(en dit zelfs kan verviervoudigen tot 40% als je tactisch speelt!!!) en waar ook even de droptarget een belangrijke rol speelt.

Lichtshows zijn mooier en opgepoetst, asteroid flashers worden nu volop gebruikt tijdens het spel,...
Ik denk ook (maar hier kan ik mis in zijn) dat de speech calls van Karl Urban een beetje op de achtergrond zijn gezet terug want ze vielen me niet zo enorm op tijdens het spelen(maar heb ook nooit zoveel op die vorige software kunnen spelen).

Of de kast nu dramatisch veranderd hiermee denk ik ook niet. In basislijn blijft hij grotendeels gelijk.
maar de medailles maakt het wel veel interessanter. Beetje gelijk de artifacts in sttng. Verder is het natuurlijk wel een grote verbetering voor een topkast. Zeker op de LE (eentje van stern's beste)

de 2 grootste minpunten aan star trek vind ik:
als je geen mode speelt ben je eigenlijk niet echt iets aan het spelen behalve vengeance en locks
uitwerking van de torpedo's moesten ze veel meer mee gedaan hebben

daarnaast is star trek wel een feest op gebied van flow en modes en licht
ook de verhaallijn die klopt met de film is top

Michel, ik heb van veel kasten die ik niet meer heb wel iets van jammer.. maar langs de andere kant is het nieuwe speeltje even leuk of zelfs beter... maar ja, plaats en geld.. het grootste probleem van onze hobby :)
